City Bomber Japan is a fast-paced, vertically scrolling vehicular combat game developed by Konami and released for arcades in 1987. Playing as “Cat Burglar 306”, you have just pulled off a heist at a corrupt casino and must escape a pursuing gang. The game challenges you to navigate treacherous roads, avoid or destroy enemy vehicles, and reach checkpoints before the strict time limit runs out.

The objective is to speed through each stage and cross the checkpoint line in time while surviving the enemy onslaught. In the browser emulator, standard arcade controls apply: use the arrow keys to steer your vehicle and manage your speed. Press Z to fire your weapons and X to jump over gaps in the road or dodge incoming obstacles. Use Shift to insert coins and Enter to start.

Target specific enemy vehicles to collect power-ups that augment your car.
