In Chase H.Q., Taito’s classic 1988 arcade racing port for the NES, you take the wheel of an undercover police cruiser to chase down fleeing criminals. Rather than just crossing a finish line, your goal is to weave through civilian traffic, catch up to the suspect’s vehicle before the time limit expires, and repeatedly ram them off the road until their car is disabled.
How to play
Each stage gives you a strict time limit to close the distance to the criminal. Once you have them in sight, you receive an extra 60 seconds to perform the takedown by ramming their car until its damage meter is full.

Tips
- Save your nitro boosts for the final takedown phase. Using them just to catch up to the criminal often leaves you struggling to inflict enough damage before the timer runs out.
- If you crash into scenery or civilian cars, you lose valuable speed. Release the accelerator briefly to regain control rather than continuing to steer hard into an obstacle.
- When ramming the target, try to push them into roadside obstacles or hit them at top speed to inflict maximum damage.
