Developed by Rare and released in 1989, Captain Skyhawk is an ambitious NES shooter that alternates between isometric bombing runs and simulated 3D aerial dogfights. How to play
Your goal is to complete mission objectives that range from destroying alien bases to surviving aerial combat. Navigate your jet using the Arrow Keys, press X to fire your main cannons, and use Z to drop bombs or launch lock-on missiles depending on the stage format. Press Enter to start or pause the game.
Tips
- In the forward-scrolling dogfight stages, keep your crosshairs moving to quickly lock onto and eliminate enemy aircraft.
