Data East brought this top-down arcade racing classic to the NES in 1982. Instead of merely outrunning the competition, you navigate deadly roadways by violently bumping rival vehicles into hazards or leaping entirely over large gaps.
How to play
The objective is to survive each treacherous course by dodging obstacles, managing your speed, and dealing with enemy cars. Bumping cars into the guardrails or water destroys them, but you can also jump into the air to avoid gaps and crush opponents upon landing. You must be traveling at least 100 mph to successfully jump.

Tips
- Try to land directly on top of enemy cars after a jump to crush them for extra points.
- If you manage to complete an entire level without destroying a single enemy car, you are awarded a massive 50,000-point pacifist bonus.
- Watch out for the dump trucks—they drop debris onto the road that can cause you to crash.
