Game description:

Bumper Bash is a classic pinball simulation released for the Atari 2600 in 1983 by Sirius Software and Spectravision. Rather than a traditional arcade action game, it aims to recreate the physics and scoring mechanics of a mechanical pinball table. You launch the ball into a vibrant playfield filled with bumpers, lanes, and targets, trying to keep the ball in play as long as possible to rack up a high score.

How to play

Your objective is to score as many points as possible without letting the pinball slip past your flippers at the bottom of the screen. Keep an eye on the ball’s trajectory and time your hits to send it back to the top of the table.

Tips

  • Timing is everything. Instead of mashing the flipper controls, watch the ball closely and wait until it is near the tip of the flipper to shoot it back up with maximum force.
  • Focus on keeping the ball in the upper half of the playfield, where the bumpers and rollovers offer the best scoring opportunities and the risk of draining is lower.
