Blackjack is an Atari 2600 casino adaptation published by Atari in 1977 as one of nine launch titles for the video computer system. Programmed by Bob Whitehead, it brings the classic casino card game home, allowing up to three players to bet virtual bankrolls against a computer-controlled dealer in races to 21.

How to Play & Controls

Each round begins by selecting your bet from your starting bankroll. Players take turns drawing cards attempting to achieve a total closer to 21 than the dealer without going over. Beat the dealer’s hand or win when the dealer busts. Standard blackjack moves including hitting, standing, doubling down, and splitting pairs are available depending on game state.
