Battle Cruiser M-12 is a vertical-scrolling arcade shooter released by Sigma Enterprises in 1983. In this fast-paced maritime action game, you take command of a powerful battle cruiser navigating dangerous waters to fend off relentless waves of enemy submarines, underwater craft, and deadly mines.

How to Play

Your objective is to survive as long as possible while racking up points by destroying the underwater enemy forces. The enemies will retaliate by firing various projectiles, including tracking missiles and splitting “flision” missiles, which you must carefully dodge. Since this is an arcade title, the default browser controls use the Arrow keys for movement, the Z or X keys to drop your depth charges, and Enter to start the game.

Gameplay Tips

• Target the Master Submarine: Keep an eye out for the Master Submarine. Destroying it not only grants you bonus points but also temporarily delays the enemy’s attack waves, giving you a brief breather.
• Anticipate the missiles: Enemy projectiles like the flision missiles can split in two. Keep moving and avoid boxing yourself into corners so you have room to evade complex attack patterns.
