Armored Warriors is a side-scrolling beat ’em up released for the Arcade by Capcom in 1994. In this game, players pilot massive, heavily armed mechs known as Variant Armors (VAs) through intense combat zones. What sets it apart from traditional brawlers is the scrap system: as you destroy enemy mechs, you can pick up their dropped parts to replace your own arms, legs, and sub-weapons, dramatically altering your attack style and capabilities on the fly.
How to Play
Your objective is to fight through enemy forces, defeat the stage bosses, and clear all the missions. You can play solo or cooperatively.
- Insert Coin: Shift
- Start: Enter
- Move: Arrow Keys
- Action Buttons (Attack/Jump/Shoot): Z, X, C
Tips
- Mix and Match Parts: Don’t hesitate to equip enemy parts. Drill arms, laser blades, and tread legs all have unique hitboxes and movement speeds.
- Team Attack (Cyber EX): If playing with others, coordinate to collect the communication items. When players combine, you form a single devastating super-mech to annihilate bosses.
- Use Sub-Weapons Wisely: Sub-weapons have limited ammo, so save your high-damage artillery and lasers for large groups of enemies or tough bosses.
