Developed by Tom Snyder Productions and published in 1984, Agent USA is a unique blend of adventure, strategy, and educational geography for DOS. You take on the role of a secret agent tasked with stopping the “FuzzBomb,” a mutated television set that is spreading across the country and turning ordinary citizens into static-covered “FuzzBodies.” To track it down, you must navigate the railway network of the contiguous United States, purchasing tickets and planning routes between cities while managing your time and resources.
How to Play
Your objective is to locate the FuzzBomb and neutralize it using crystals. You travel between cities by visiting train stations and typing the name of your desired destination to board the correct train. Larger cities are connected by high-speed bullet trains. When you encounter infected FuzzBodies, you can cure them by dropping a crystal in their path.

Tips
- Multiply your crystals: If you drop crystals on the ground in a safe area, they will slowly multiply. Build up a large stockpile before facing the FuzzBomb, as you will need 100 crystals to defeat it.
- Head to the capitals: State capitals are the only cities with information booths. Use them to track the FuzzBomb’s current location and plan your next train route.
