How to Play
Your objective is to direct your units across the map to defeat the enemy boss in each stage while protecting your own headquarters. Combat resolves automatically based on the tactics you set. Use the arrow keys (D-pad) to move your cursor and units, the X key (A button) to select or confirm, and the Z key (B button) to cancel. Press Enter (Start) to access your army menu and manage deployments.
Tips
- Watch your alignment: To get the best endings, only liberate towns with units whose alignment matches the town’s morale. Using high-level units to crush low-level enemies will tank their charisma and alignment.
- Target the leader: When facing tough enemy squads, set your battle tactic to “Target Leader.” If the unit leader falls, the rest of the squad will retreat from the map.
- Save your Tarot cards: Cards drawn upon liberating towns offer powerful battlefield effects. Save devastating cards like The World or Judgment for challenging boss encounters.
