Game description:

Gionbana is a traditional Japanese Hanafuda card game developed and published by Nichibutsu, originally released for the Super Famicom in 1994. As a digital adaptation of the classic flower card game, it offers a first-person perspective against various opponents and remains a Japan-exclusive title.

In this browser-based version, the standard SNES controls map directly to your keyboard. Use the Arrow Keys to navigate menus and select cards. Press X to confirm your selection (acting as the A button) and Z to cancel (the B button). Enter and Shift function as the Start and Select buttons, respectively.

Since this is a traditional Hanafuda game, familiarity with the Koi-Koi ruleset and recognizing the 12 flower suits is essential. Focus on forming high-value combinations like Goko (Five Brights) or Ino-Shika-Cho (Boar-Deer-Butterfly) to maximize your score.
