WWF Raw is a classic 16-bit professional wrestling game released for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) in 1994. Serving as the direct sequel to WWF Royal Rumble and the final entry in LJN’s 16-bit WWF trilogy, the game features a roster of iconic superstars from the era, upgraded graphics, and fast-paced arcade wrestling action. It introduced unique character-specific “mega moves” and refined grappling mechanics that set the standard for 90s wrestling titles.
How to Play
The objective is to pin your opponent, force a submission, or win by count-out. In your browser, the standard SNES controls map to your keyboard. Use the Arrow Keys to move your wrestler around the ring. Z, X, A, and S act as your main action buttons for punches, kicks, and running, while Enter acts as Start. To initiate a grapple, simply walk directly into your opponent. Once locked up, rapidly tap the action buttons to execute a maneuver and overpower your rival.
Tips
- Master the Mega Moves: Each wrestler has a unique, devastating “mega move.” You can only execute these when your opponent’s energy is nearly depleted and they are groggy.
- Use the Environment: You can exit the ring to fight on the floor, and even grab steel chairs from ringside to use as weapons when the referee is distracted or knocked out.
