Yu-Gi-Oh! – Duel des Tenebres is the French localization of Dark Duel Stories, a classic trading card strategy game released by Konami for the Game Boy Color in 2002. By winning duels and expanding your card collection, you must build the ultimate deck to defeat increasingly difficult opponents.

How to Play

The objective is to reduce your opponent’s Life Points to zero by strategically playing Monster, Spell, and Trap cards. Use the D-pad (arrow keys) to navigate your hand and the play field. Press the A button (Z key on your keyboard) to select, summon, or play a card. Use the B button (X key) to cancel an action or view card details, and press Start (Enter) to access the menu or pause the game.

Tips

• Pay close attention to elemental alignments. A monster with a superior element (such as Water attacking Fire) will instantly destroy its target, completely ignoring attack and defense points.
• Experiment by playing one monster card on top of another in your hand to perform fusion summons. Learning the right combinations gives you access to powerful creatures early on.
• Use the password screen to enter 8-digit codes from real-life physical cards. This unlocks them in your virtual trunk, though you still need to manage your Deck Capacity to use them.
