Released in 1996 by Capcom, X-Men vs. Street Fighter is the legendary arcade fighting game that pioneered the crossover tag-team formula. By bringing Marvel’s mutant superheroes and Capcom’s world warriors into the same arena, it introduced frantic two-on-two matches, huge aerial combos, and screen-filling super moves to the fighting genre.
How to Play
Choose your tag team of two fighters and battle until both opponents are knocked out. As an arcade emulation, press Shift (or 5) to insert a coin, and Enter (or 1) to start. Use the Arrow keys for movement, and Z/X/C for action buttons.
Tips
- Tag to Heal: Characters resting in the background slowly recover the red portion of their health bar. Tag them out before they get knocked out completely!
- Variable Combinations: If you have at least two levels of your super meter, perform a hadouken motion (down, down-forward, forward) and press both heavy attack buttons to unleash a devastating double super move with both of your characters on screen.
