How to Play
The objective is to navigate through diverse side-scrolling stages, dodging enemies and overcoming obstacles to reach Montana Max. In the browser, the standard NES controls are mapped to the keyboard: use the arrow keys to move, Z to jump, X to dash or attack, and Enter to pause. A key feature is the ability to swap characters; before each world, Buster chooses a partner (Plucky Duck, Dizzy Devil, or Furrball). You can transform into this partner by collecting a Star Ball item found in the levels, gaining access to their unique abilities.
Tips
- Choose the Right Partner: Plucky Duck is great for water levels and can briefly glide by tapping the jump button, Dizzy Devil’s spin attack can destroy certain walls and enemies, and Furrball can climb vertical surfaces to reach secret areas.
- Slide to Attack: Buster Bunny doesn’t just jump on enemies; pressing down and the jump button while moving lets him perform a slide attack, which is very useful for taking out ground-level foes.
- Collect Carrots: Gather as many carrots as you can. Collecting 30 carrots allows you to trade them for an extra life at the end of the stage.
