Developed by Lightspan and released in 2001, Timeless Math 7 – Rover Recovery is an educational adventure game for the original PlayStation. Part of the Lightspan Adventures series designed for schools, the game challenges you to solve math problems to help characters Gracie and Ryan locate a missing space rover. It features three different game modesโTracking, Search, and Radarโwhere you must correctly identify exponents and complete mathematical activities to succeed in your mission.
How to play
Your objective is to find the missing rover by solving exponent-based math puzzles across three difficulty levels. In tracking mode, you must identify the correct mathematical answers and beam a signal to them. The PlayStation controls map to your keyboard: use the Arrow keys for the D-pad to navigate menus and select answers, Z for the X button to confirm your choices, X for the Circle button to go back, and Enter for Start to pause or begin the game.
Tips
- If you get stuck, you can return to previously completed missions to practice your exponent skills before tackling the harder difficulty levels.
- Take your time in Radar mode to double-check your answers before beaming your signal, as accuracy is key to tracking the rover.
