Released in 1995 for the PlayStation, this fast-paced puzzle game places you in control of a central shape defending itself against an endless barrage of colored pieces encroaching from four different sides. Unlike traditional falling-block puzzles, you must proactively shoot at the incoming lines to clear them out before they reach your safe zone in the middle of the grid.
How to Play
Your goal is to survive as long as possible by clearing the advancing colored shapes. When you shoot a piece that matches your current color, it disappears, along with any matching shapes directly behind it. If you shoot a piece of a different color, you swap colors with it instead. Use the Arrow Keys to face different directions and Z or X to shoot and swap colors.
Tips
- Clear rows efficiently: Try to line up multiple pieces of the same color to eliminate entire rows in a single shot.
- Strategic swapping: Sometimes you need to swap colors with an advancing piece just to gain the color you need to clear a more dangerous stack on another side.
- Keep moving: Don’t get tunnel vision on one side. Keep an eye on all four quadrants, as the speed ramps up quickly and shapes will overwhelm you if ignored.
