Game description:

Terminator 2: Judgment Day for the NES is a side-scrolling action and beat ’em up game released in 1992. Developed by Software Creations and published by LJN, it loosely follows the plot of the 1991 blockbuster film. Players control the T-800 as he battles through five notoriously difficult levels, including a truck stop brawl, a top-down motorcycle chase, and a final showdown with the T-1000 in a steel mill.

How to Play

Your objective is to protect John and Sarah Connor from the shapeshifting T-1000 while surviving relentless waves of enemies. Standard NES controls apply: use the D-pad to move, A to jump, and B to punch or shoot. In the driving stage, the D-pad steers your motorcycle while B fires at the pursuing truck. In the browser, these map to the arrow keys, with Z for A, X for B, and Enter for Start.

Tips

  • Conserve your ammunition in the side-scrolling levels. Running out of ammo forces you into close-quarters melee combat, which is much riskier and drains your health quickly.
  • During the motorcycle chase level, stay as far ahead of the truck as possible while continuously firing backwards to keep it at bay. Avoid obstacles at all costs, as crashing lets the truck catch up instantly.
