Target: Renegade is a beat ’em up published by Taito for the NES in 1988 — the sequel to Renegade. You fight through a series of street and indoor stages, brawling past waves of gangsters on the way to their boss. Each level ends with a direct fight against a tougher enemy before the next stage opens.
How to Play
Move with the arrow keys. Z (B button) attacks; X (A button) jumps. Press Z while airborne to throw a flying kick. Use Enter to start. Clear every enemy on screen to advance to the next stage.
Tips
- The flying kick — jump with X, then press Z at the peak — is your most reliable crowd-control tool. It carries range and keeps you off the ground while enemies converge.
- Enemies telegraph their punches with a brief wind-up. Step out of range, let the swing miss, then counter.
