Developed by Sega and released as a launch title for the Sega Genesis in 1988, Super Thunder Blade is a fast-paced 3D rail shooter. You pilot a prototype attack helicopter through hostile territory, dodging obstacles and destroying enemy jets, tanks, and gunships to dismantle a rogue army.
How to Play
Your goal is to survive the enemy onslaught and defeat the boss at the end of each stage. In your browser, use the Arrow Keys to steer your helicopter. Press Z, X, or C to fire your vulcan cannons and missiles, or to use the airbrake. Press Enter to start the game.
Gameplay Tips
- Master the airbrake: Speeding through levels makes you an easy target. Use the brake frequently to give yourself more time to react to incoming fire and tight environmental hazards.
- Focus on dodging: Your weapons have a wide spread, so prioritize steering clear of enemy projectiles rather than trying to perfectly aim every single shot.
