Game description:

Super League is a classic baseball game released for the Sega Genesis (Mega Drive) in 1989. Developed by Sega and known in Western markets as Tommy Lasorda Baseball, it stands as one of the console’s earliest and most foundational sports titles. The game delivers traditional 16-bit baseball action, allowing players to compete in single exhibition matches or tackle a full password-saved season.

How to Play

The objective is to outscore the opposing team across nine innings by successfully batting, pitching, and fielding. For the Sega Genesis, the default browser controls use the Arrow keys for the D-pad to move fielders, aim pitches, and position your batter. Use Z, X, and C (acting as the A, B, and C buttons) to swing the bat, throw pitches, and select bases when fielding. Press Enter (Start) to pause or access the tactical menu to change pitchers or pinch-hitters.

Tips

  • When pitching, rely on changing the speed and direction of your throws mid-flight to trick the AI into swinging early or late.
  • While playing defense, keep a close eye on the shadow of the fly ball to predict exactly where it will land and quickly position your outfielder.
