Released in 1994 by Sega for the Genesis, Streets of Rage 3 is a fast-paced action fighting game that concludes the original 16-bit beat ’em up trilogy. It introduces a new power meter that lets characters unleash special attacks without losing health once fully charged, and significantly speeds up combat by giving everyone the ability to sprint and roll vertically. Axel, Blaze, and Skate return to dismantle Mr. X’s syndicate, joined by a new cyborg brawler named Dr. Zan.
How to play
Progress through the city streets and defeat waves of enemies using hand-to-hand combat and scavenged weapons. You can sprint by double-tapping left or right, and dodge roll by double-tapping up or down.

Tips
- Your power meter charges automatically over time. Wait for the meter to say “OK” before using a special attack so you don’t sacrifice your own health.
- Weapons have durability but offer powerful unique blitz attacks depending on the character. Blaze is especially lethal with a knife, while Skate excels with a lead pipe.
- The game features a branching storyline. Keep an eye on the timer during key boss fights, as defeating them quickly (or failing to) will change your route and the final ending.
