Defend Earth from an endless, descending alien armada in Space Invaders, Taito’s iconic 1978 action shooter for the Atari 7800. As the enemy formation slowly marches downward, you must eliminate every ship before they reach the bottom of the screen, all while avoiding incoming fire and managing your limited defensive bunkers.
How to Play
Your objective is to clear each wave of aliens before they land. Move your laser cannon horizontally to dodge attacks and line up your shots. Your defensive bunkers provide essential protection but can be destroyed by both enemy and friendly fire.

Tips
- Keep the formation wide: Destroying the ships on the far left and right edges makes the remaining group narrower. A narrower group reaches the sides of the screen more quickly, causing them to drop down faster. Focus your fire on the center columns first to buy yourself more time.
- Manage your cover: Your defensive bunkers provide essential protection from enemy fire, but shooting through them from underneath will quickly erode them. Try to peek out from the edges of the bunkers to fire instead.
- Hunt the UFO: Keep an eye out for the red UFO that occasionally flies across the top of the screen. Hitting it awards a substantial point bonus, which is crucial for earning extra lives.
