How to play
Your objective is to navigate to the end of each act by running, jumping, and spinning through enemies and obstacles. Use the Arrow keys to move left or right, press Down to roll while moving, and press Z or X to jump. Press Enter to start or pause the game.
Tips
- Unlike the 16-bit versions, you cannot pick up rings again after taking damage. Every hit costs your rings permanently, so be extra careful around spikes and enemies.
- The Chaos Emeralds are hidden throughout the acts rather than in Special Stages. Explore the levels thoroughly to find them all.
