SegaSonic Bros. is a unique falling-block puzzle game originally designed in 1992 by Bubble Bobble creator Fukio Mitsuji. Though it was unreleased in arcades, this unofficial Sega Genesis port brings the lost title to life. Instead of matching lines, you must drop and arrange blue, red, and yellow Sonics to clear the board.
Your objective is to surround gems and other blocks by building a closed loop of identical colors around them. Use the arrow keys to move the falling pieces, and press Z, X, or C (the Genesis A, B, and C buttons) to rotate them. Once a loop is sealed, everything inside it disappears and adds to your score.
For the best results, try to build your enclosures from the bottom and the sides of the playfield to maintain control over the center. If you can trap multiple gems inside a single large loop, you will be rewarded with a massive point bonus.
