Game description:

Originally released in Japan, Sai Yu Gou Ma Roku (also known as China Gate) is a 1988 arcade action-platformer by Technos Japan. Based loosely on the classic Chinese novel Journey to the West, players choose from three mythological characters—including the Monkey King—and battle through single-screen stages to defeat waves of demons.

How to Play

The objective is to clear each stage by defeating enemies and a boss before the timer expires. In the browser emulator, use the Arrow keys to move and jump, and Z or X to attack and use magic. Press Shift to insert a coin, and Enter to start.

Tips

Each character has different capabilities; Goku (the Monkey King) is a great all-rounder, while Hakkai (the pig) is slower but more powerful.
Save your limited magic attacks for the boss fights or when overwhelmed by multiple enemies on a single platform.
