Black Tiger (Bootleg Set 2) is an alternate version of Capcom's classic 1987 arcade action-platformer. You play as a heroic barbarian battling through dark, sprawling fantasy levels to defeat three evil dragons that have plunged the kingdom into darkness. Armed with a spiked mace and throwing daggers, you explore multi-tiered stages, fighting off demons, skeletons, and other monsters.
The objective is to reach the end of each level, defeating a boss to proceed. Along the way, you collect Zenny coins from enemies and hidden chests, which can be spent at mysterious wise men's shops to upgrade your weapons and armor or buy keys and potions.
Controls: Insert Coin (Shift) and Press Start (Enter). Move with the Arrow Keys. Press Z to jump and X to attack. Your attack simultaneously swings your mace and throws three daggers in a spread pattern.
Tips:
- Upgrading your armor is crucial for survival, as it allows you to take more hits before dying. Always prioritize buying armor from the shopkeepers.
- Explore thoroughly; many walls are destructible and hide secret coins, extra time, or even hidden shops.
