🎮 Play Rainbow Islands (Europe) (En,Fr,De,Es,It) Online (Game Boy Color)

Released for the Game Boy Color in 2001, Rainbow Islands is the colorful platforming sequel to the arcade classic Bubble Bobble. Instead of blowing bubbles, you play as Bub and Bob in human form, using solid rainbows to attack enemies and create temporary bridges to reach higher platforms.

Your goal is to reach the top of each vertically scrolling stage before the water level rises and floods the screen. The default Game Boy Color controls in the browser are the arrow keys to move, Z to jump, and X to shoot rainbows. Use Enter for Start and Shift for Select if needed.

A rainbow deals damage if an enemy walks into it while it is forming, but you can also jump on a solid rainbow to collapse it and crush enemies trapped beneath. Do not linger too long on any stage, as the rising water will cost you a life if it catches you.
