Quattro Adventure is a four-game compilation cartridge published by Codemasters for the NES in 1991. It gathers four independent platform games â Treasure Island Dizzy, Super Robin Hood, Linus Spacehead’s Cosmic Crusade, and Boomerang Kid â into a single release, giving players a varied set of Codemasters platform titles from that era.
How to play
Select one of the four games from the title screen. Each plays independently with its own levels and objectives:
- Treasure Island Dizzy â Navigate the rolling egg hero Dizzy across a tropical island, collecting items and solving environmental puzzles to progress.
- Super Robin Hood â Platform through castle levels as Robin Hood, dodging guards and traps on the way to rescue Maid Marian.
- Linus Spacehead’s Cosmic Crusade â Help stranded alien Linus navigate Earth environments, gathering pieces of his crashed spaceship.
- Boomerang Kid â Defeat enemies across multi-screen levels using a returning boomerang; wait for it to come back before throwing again.
Browser controls (all four games): Arrow keys to move · X = A button · Z = B button · Enter = Start · Shift = Select.
Tips
- In Treasure Island Dizzy, explore each area fully before moving on â items found early are often needed to get past obstacles further into the island.
- In Boomerang Kid, each throw sends the boomerang out and back; time your movement and next throw around its return arc.
