Game description:

Quattro Arcade is a compilation of four action-oriented titles released for the Nintendo Entertainment System in 1992 by Codemasters. Bypassing Nintendo’s official licensing, this cartridge packs together F-16 Renegade, C.J.’s Elephant Antics, Go! Dizzy Go!, and Stunt Buggies. Each offers a distinct arcade-style experience, from vertically scrolling shoot-’em-up action to platforming and maze navigation.

How to play

Each of the four games uses standard NES controls, mapped to your keyboard. Use the arrow keys for movement, steering, or navigation depending on the game. Press Z for the primary action (like shooting in F-16 Renegade or jumping in C.J.’s Elephant Antics) and X for secondary abilities. Use Enter for Start to select your game from the main menu and pause, and Shift for Select.

Tips

  • F-16 Renegade: Your aircraft can transition between flying and ground levels; adapt your movement and firing strategy when the perspective changes.
  • Go! Dizzy Go!: Much like Pac-Man, your goal is to collect all the fruit in each maze. Prioritise grabbing the power-ups to turn the tables on your enemies.
