PowerChess is a DOS puzzle game released by New-Ware in 1989. Rather than relying on quick reflexes, the game presents you with static board layouts where you must carefully plan your moves to find the single correct solution among several tempting wrong ones.
The game is controlled using standard keyboard inputs as it would have been originally played under MS-DOS. You can toggle fullscreen mode at any time by pressing Right Alt + Enter.
