Pinball Fantasies (USA) is a 1995 pinball simulation game released for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES). Originally developed by Digital Illusions and ported to the SNES by Spidersoft, this sequel to Pinball Dreams delivers realistic physics and fast-paced arcade action. The game features four highly detailed tables with distinct themes: the amusement park of Party Land, the high-speed racing of Speed Devils, the glitzy Billion Dollar Gameshow, and the haunted graveyard of Stones ‘N Bones.
How to Play
Your objective is to score as many points as possible without letting the ball drain past the flippers. Use the SNES D-pad and face buttons (or L/R shoulder buttons) to control the left and right flippers, and press Start to launch the ball. In your browser, these controls map to the arrow keys for the D-pad, Z/X/A/S for the face buttons, Q/W for the shoulder buttons, and Enter/Shift for Start/Select.
Tips
- Pay attention to the dot-matrix display, which guides you on which ramps or targets to hit next to start special modes or multiball.
- On the Billion Dollar Gameshow table, focus on spelling out the letters to win the jackpot prizes.
- Practice “trapping” the ball by holding a flipper up when the ball rolls down the inlane; this allows you to line up your next shot precisely rather than flipping wildly.
