Photo Y2K Real and Fake is an arcade spot-the-difference puzzle game released in 1999 by IGS. Across 60 levels of solo or two-player cooperative play, you must carefully study two side-by-side photographs and identify all the subtle discrepancies before the clock runs out.
How to Play
Your objective is to find all five differences in each stage. Using the joystick to move your cursor and the action button to select, you must quickly pinpoint anomalies without making mistakes. An incorrect guess costs a life, and three mistakes end the game. Pay close attention to the timer, as running out of time will also cost you a life.
Tips
- Scan systematically: Rather than jumping randomly around the images, pick an edge or corner and work your way across to ensure you don’t miss small details.
- Use items wisely: Bonus rounds occur every five levels and allow you to replenish helpful items, such as the ability to restart the timer or automatically reveal a difference. Save these for the harder late-game images.
