PC-Gammon is a classic digital adaptation of the traditional board game backgammon, released for DOS in 1992 by Sentient Software. It offers a straightforward experience that faithfully translates the rules and strategy of the original game to the computer screen, complete with simple graphics and a multiplayer mode.
How to play
The objective is to move all fifteen of your checkers around the board and bear them off before your opponent does. Moves are determined by rolling two dice, and you must strategically navigate your pieces while blocking or hitting the opposing checkers. The game is controlled using standard DOS keyboard inputs, and you can press Right Alt + Enter to toggle fullscreen mode.
