Nebulous Bee is a 1981 arcade fixed shooter that has earned a cult following for its memorable name and its status as a notable unauthorized bootleg of the classic Galaga. Produced by an unknown manufacturer on custom hardware, the game perfectly replicates the mechanics of Namco’s hit. You pilot a starfighter at the bottom of the screen, tasked with fending off waves of alien insects that assemble in formation and dive aggressively toward you.

How to Play

Clear each stage by shooting down the entire alien swarm while dodging their attacks and kamikaze dives. Use the Arrow Keys to move your ship left and right, and press Z or Space to fire your weapon. Press Shift to insert a coin and Enter to start the game.

Tips

• When a boss alien uses its tractor beam, you can intentionally let your ship be captured. If you shoot the boss down while using your next life, you will rescue the captured fighter and combine them into a dual ship with double the firepower.
• Pay attention to the aliens’ diving patterns. They often stop firing right before they pull out of a dive, giving you a brief window to slip underneath them safely.
