Released in 1982 as Jaleco’s first in-house arcade development, Naughty Boy is a top-down maze action game where you guide a young character through forests, across rivers, and past barbed wire fences. Your ultimate goal is to reach the monsters’ castle and set it on fire, fending off enemies with thrown stones along the way.
How to Play
The objective is to survive the environmental hazards and enemy monsters to eventually destroy the castle. Use the arrow keys to move in four directions. Press Z or X to throw stones, which can be used both to defeat monsters and to clear obstacles blocking your path. Press Shift to insert a virtual coin and Enter to start the game.
Tips
- Stones are your only defenseโuse them proactively to clear obstacles before you get boxed in by enemies.
- During bonus levels, focus on throwing objects at the indestructible monster to stun it and rack up extra points.
