Mr. Do! is a classic arcade maze game, ported to the Game Boy, where players guide a clown through underground tunnels to harvest cherries and defeat pursuing monsters. Originally a massive hit in the arcades, this handheld version retains the fast-paced digging action and strategic puzzle mechanics of the original.
How to play
The objective is to clear each stage by either collecting all the cherries scattered throughout the maze or by eliminating every enemy. Enemies can be crushed by digging under apples and letting them drop, or defeated directly by throwing your bouncing power ball. Controls follow the standard Game Boy layout: use the D-pad to navigate and dig through the dirt, and the A or B button to throw your power ball (mapped to arrow keys and Z/X in the browser).
Tips
- Try to group enemies together before dropping an apple on them to score bonus points and clear the stage faster.
- Use the power ball carefully; if you miss your target, you must wait for the ball to bounce back to your hands before you can throw it again.
- Grab the center prize when the letters D-O are complete to win an extra life.
