Monster Maulers (also known in Japan as Kyukyoku Sentai Dadandarn) is a vibrant 1993 arcade fighting game developed by Konami. Heavily inspired by Super Sentai and classic anime, this energetic brawler skips traditional stages and focuses entirely on a boss-rush format. Players select from three heroesโmartial artist Kotetsu, speedy fighter Anne, or American wrestler Eagleโto battle a series of massive, screen-filling monsters created by the villainous Brainy and the “Happy Droppers” syndicate.
How to Play
Unlike standard beat ’em ups, every match is a one-on-one (or two-on-one in co-op) fight against a giant boss monster. To play in the browser, press Shift to insert coins and Enter to start. Use the Arrow Keys to move your character around the arena, and the Z, X, and C keys to unleash standard attacks, jumps, and special moves. Defeat each boss within the time limit to advance to the next worldwide location.

- Team up for secret moves: If you are playing cooperatively with a second player, positioning yourselves correctly allows you to trigger devastating combined team attacks against the bosses.
- Watch for Konami cameos: Pay attention to the boss roster, as several enemies are direct references to other classic Konami franchises, including a giant Moai statue from the Gradius series.
- Learn your special inputs: Standard attacks won’t be enough for the later monsters. Practice your character’s specific Street Fighter-style directional inputs to consistently land high-damage specials.
