Missile Defense 3-D is a 1987 light gun shooter for the Sega Master System. Originally designed to showcase both the Sega Light Phaser and the SegaScope 3-D Glasses, the game tasks you with defending cities from incoming nuclear ICBMs. It combines fast-paced gallery shooting with a distinctive sense of depth created by its 3D perspective.
How to play
Your goal is to intercept enemy missiles before they reach their targets. In the browser, the Light Phaser is mapped to your mouse pointer, with the left click used to fire. You must quickly clear the sky of threats in each stage before moving on to a boss confrontation in orbit.
Tips
Prioritize missiles that are descending quickly or are closest to the city skyline. During the orbital boss battles, focus your fire on the flashing weak points of the enemy satellite while avoiding its retaliatory shots.
