How to Play
Your goal is to recover the stolen Golden Axe. As you explore the overhead map, random encounters will pull you into brief, side-scrolling battles where you must defeat enemies to survive and earn magic vases. Use the arrow keys to move, Z and X to attack and jump, and Enter to pause or open your sub-screen.
Tips
- Master the jump attack: The downward thrust (jumping and attacking mid-air) is a reliable move for taking out tougher enemies while keeping your distance.
- Save your magic: Magic vases serve as both your spell currency and your money in towns, so hold off on using spells during easy encounters.
