🎮 Play Mega Man X – Xtra Power Online (SNES)

Mega Man X – Xtra Power is a gameplay-focused ROM hack of the classic SNES action-platformer, developed by BillyTime! Games. This modification aims to make the late game even more exciting by dramatically upgrading X once you collect all four pieces of the armor set (Helmet, Body, Buster, and Boots). With the full suit equipped, you gain double the health recovery from small capsules, recover from damage twice as fast, and earn infinite ammunition for non-charged special weapons.

How to play

Defeat the Maverick bosses and collect their weapons while searching the stages for Dr. Light’s armor capsules. To control X, use the D-Pad (Arrow Keys) to move, Y (X key) to shoot or charge your Buster, and B (Z key) to jump. Dash using A (S key) or double-tap left or right, and use L/R (Q/W keys) to quickly switch between your special weapons. Press Start (Enter) to pause and access the sub-screen.

Tips

• Prioritize tracking down all four armor capsules as early as possible to unlock the hack’s massive power upgrades.
• Once fully armored, do not hesitate to spam your special weapons against difficult enemies, as standard uncharged shots will not deplete your weapon energy.
• Take advantage of your enhanced Buster—the Level 2 charge shot now replaces the standard green shot, making regular combat much easier.
