Mega lo Mania – Jikuu Daisenryaku (Japan) is a real-time strategy and god game released for the Super Nintendo (SNES) in 1993. Known in North America as Tyrants: Fight Through Time, the game puts you in control of a deity guiding your followers through different epochs of human history. You must gather resources, research technology, and advance your civilization from the Stone Age to the future to conquer rival gods across various islands.
How to play
The objective is to eliminate all enemy factions on the map. You do this by assigning your followers to gather materials, research new weapons, and manufacture them before deploying your armies into enemy territory. For SNES browser controls, use the arrow keys for the D-pad, Z/X/A/S for the A/B/X/Y buttons, Q/W for L/R, and Enter/Shift for Start/Select.
Tips
- Always prioritize researching the next epoch over building low-tech weapons, as advanced technology easily overpowers earlier eras.
- Leave some followers idle so they reproduce, ensuring you have enough population to gather resources and fight.
- Pay attention to the voice alerts; they provide crucial updates on when research is complete or if an enemy is attacking.
