Match It II (also known as Shisen-shou II) is a classic tile-matching puzzle game released for arcades in 1993 by Tamtex and Irem. Building upon the familiar Shisen-Sho style of gameplay, players are challenged to clear a board filled with various symbols, such as jewels, alphabet letters, or mahjong characters, before the timer runs out.
How to Play
The objective is to clear all the tiles from the screen. You can remove a pair of identical tiles only if they can be connected by a continuous line that bends no more than twice, without passing through any other tiles. Use the Arrow Keys to move your cursor and Z or X to select matching pairs. Press 5 to insert a coin and 1 to start the game.
Tips
Look for matching pairs located on the outer edges of the tile formation, as these are often the easiest to connect without interference. The game offers a hint feature and a limited undo function, but be mindful when using them, as relying on hints will cost you valuable time.
