Marble Madness is the classic isometric arcade platformer, originally released in 1984 and published for the NES by Electronic Arts. In this fast-paced action game, you guide a fragile glass marble through a series of surreal, abstract obstacle courses suspended in mid-air. Racing against a strict time limit, you must navigate treacherous slopes, narrow bridges, and bizarre enemies like Marble Munchers and rival Steelie marbles to reach the finish line.
How to Play
Your objective is to roll your marble to the goal line of each course before time runs out. Any remaining time at the end of a level is carried over to the next. Because the marble has physics-based momentum, it takes time to accelerate and decelerate, requiring you to anticipate turns rather than reacting at the last second.

Tips
- Master momentum: Tap the directional keys in short bursts to maintain control on narrow ledges instead of holding them down.
- Avoid the Steelies: Engaging the black enemy marbles usually wastes precious time or risks knocking you off the course. Focus on slipping past them with speed.
- Take the inside track: On later courses like the Ultimate race, hugging the inside curves on downward spirals will shave off critical seconds.
