Join Donald Duck in The Lucky Dime Caper, a classic Sega Master System platformer released in 1991. When the evil witch Magica De Spell steals Uncle Scrooge’s Number One Dime and kidnaps Huey, Dewey, and Louie, it’s up to Donald to travel the globe and save his family. Navigate through varied environments, from dangerous forests to icy mountains, in this colourful and challenging adventure.
How to Play
Your objective is to reach the end of each level, defeat the bosses, and rescue Donald’s nephews before recovering the Number One Dime. The Sega Master System controls are mapped to your keyboard:
- Arrow Keys: Move Donald and duck
- Z: Jump (you can defeat most enemies by bouncing on them)
- X: Attack (swing your hammer or throw a frisbee if you have collected one)
- Enter/Shift: Start or Pause the game
Tips
- Your weapon matters: the hammer is great for close-range combat, while the frisbee lets you attack safely from a distance. Collecting a weapon you already have gives you bonus points.
- If you take damage while holding a weapon, you lose the weapon instead of losing a life. If you get hit without a weapon, you’ll lose a life!
- Explore thoroughly. Taking the time to look around can help you find extra stars, which grant you temporary invincibility, or even 1-Ups.
