Kung Fu 2 is a 1991 NES action game by Irem — the sequel to their 1984 arcade hit Kung-Fu Master. Where the original launched the side-scrolling beat ’em up genre, this follow-up returns to the same core: advance through stages, clear each wave of enemies with punches and kicks, and keep moving. Irem’s arcade pedigree — R-Type, Image Fight — means the difficulty arrives early and does not let up.
How to play
Move with the arrow keys. Z (B button) and X (A button) handle your attacks. Press Enter to start; Shift is Select. Enemies close in from both sides at once, so stay mobile and strike decisively. This is a single-player game only.
Tips
- Don’t let yourself get cornered against the edge of the screen — enemies press in from both sides simultaneously, and there is no room to recover once you are pinned.
- Watch the pattern of each wave and position early rather than reacting after enemies are already on top of you.
