In Audiogenic’s 1992 puzzle-platformer, Krusty’s Fun House, you help Springfield’s famous clown clear his establishment of a severe mouse infestation. Rather than simply reaching an exit, you must build paths using blocks and pipes to lead the mice into extermination traps operated by characters like Bart and Homer. It plays like a mix of a traditional 16-bit SNES platformer and a puzzle game, requiring both quick reflexes and careful planning.
How to Play
Your goal in each room is to direct every mouse into the trap. The mice walk blindly forward, turning around only when they hit an obstacle, so you must arrange blocks to create stairs or block off dead ends. Move Krusty using the Arrow Keys. Jump with Z, and use X to throw pies or pick up and drop blocks. You can also use A or S to kick certain blocks. Press Enter to pause.
Tips
- Mice can survive falls of any height, so don’t worry about dropping them from the top of the level.
- Clear the path of dangerous creatures with your pies before opening the way for the mice.
- If you trap a mouse in an impossible spot or place a block wrong, exit and re-enter the room to reset the puzzle.
