Jumping is a 1989 arcade platformer that operates as an unofficial bootleg of the classic Rainbow Islands. Just like the original, it features vertically scrolling stages where players must use solid rainbows to attack enemies and create temporary platforms to climb higher.
How to Play
Your goal is to ascend to the top of each island before the rising water reaches you. Enemies can be defeated by hitting them directly with a rainbow or by collapsing a rainbow on top of them. In the browser emulator, use the following default arcade controls:
- Arrow Keys: Move left and right
- Z / X: Jump and shoot rainbows
- Shift: Insert Coin
- Enter: Start
Tips
- Dropping a rainbow on enemies often yields power-ups or colored gems; collecting all seven gem colors in a stage grants an extra life.
- You can walk safely on top of your rainbows, but jumping on them will cause them to break and fall downward.
