Hudson Hawk is a 1992 2D side-scrolling platformer for the NES, based on the action-comedy film of the same name. Developed by Special FX Software, the game puts you in the shoes of the legendary cat burglar Eddie “Hudson Hawk” Hawkins. You are forced to come out of retirement to steal a series of priceless artifacts while avoiding a bizarre array of security systems, alarms, and guards.
How to Play
Your objective is to navigate each heavily guarded level and secure the target artifact without losing all your health. The controls for the browser emulator map the NES pad to your keyboard: use the Arrow Keys to move, duck, and crawl. Press Z (A button) to jump over gaps and laser tripwires, and press X (B button) to punch or throw tennis balls to stun enemies like guard dogs and security personnel.
