Hokuto no Ken is a 1986 side-scrolling action game developed by Shouei System and published by Toei Animation for the NES. Based on the Fist of the North Star manga, you play as Kenshiro fighting through wasteland environments to rescue Yuria, using martial arts to strike pressure points and cause enemies to explode.

How to play

Navigate the levels by entering the correct doors to reach the boss area; taking the wrong door will force you to loop through the stage again. Defeat enemies to collect star power-ups, which unlock Kenshiro’s rapid-fire punches and projectile attacks.
